The Glenrose Rehabilitation Research Innovation & Technology (GRRIT) hub was established to advance rehabilitation research, innovation and technology development by engaging with our partners to develop technological solutions for challenges experienced by practitioners and people living with physical or cognitive disabilities. GRRIT works with collaborators from academia, industry, entrepreneurs, clinical staff, patients, and families. GRRIT supports the development of innovative products and solutions by offering access and exposure to clinical settings, traineeships, specialized equipment, technical advice, and clinical evaluations. GRRIT also collaborates with external partners with expertise in engineering, design, business development, and marketing.
The IHE HTA unit conducts a range of knowledge synthesis activities, such as systematic literature reviews and interviews with key health system stakeholders, to support evidence-informed decision-making at various levels in the health system provincially and nationally.

CT imaging technology provides a very consistent, non-intrusive, and safe method of viewing the internals of the scanned samples. While a lot of information can be discovered about the sample from other tests, obtaining images of the internal characteristics of samples are often key to obtaining a comprehensive understanding.
The facility is used to develop, optimize, and scale biological processes, provide toll processing services and assist customers in the deployment, demonstration and commercialization of novel technology.
Capable of producing traditional wood pulps agricultural fibre pulps and more exotic materials such as nanocrystals and nanofibrils. The facility has mechanical options for preprocessing materials and can conduct pulp piloting and testing, and have access to a Tornado Pulper System for wet fibre processing.
