The facility has mechanical options for preprocessing materials and can conduct pulp piloting and testing, and have access to a Tornado Pulper System for wet fibre processing.

The centre provides expertise in micro-grid developments, solar installations, and electric vehicle integration, as well as a microgrid testing and validation environment to facilitate new product development.
The Centre for Innovative Media motion capture studio is a 2000 square foot, custom engineered motion and performance capture space in NAIT’s Productivity and Innovation Centre. This motion capture studio opened in early 2021 to meet the needs of a wide variety of technical projects. The studio can capture high fidelity performances involving multiple actors, props and finger tracking. The studio can also assist with motion capture for virtual production and life sciences applications. We have professional technicians with over 10 years’ experience producing animation for TV and film and video games.
