Trade Mission: Africa Energy Forum – Barcelona, Spain

The Government of Alberta, in partnership with the Government of Canada, will be leading a delegation of companies to go to Africa Energy Forum.

The Africa Energy Forum is an event focused on the clean tech and renewable energy sector. Over the last 25 years, It has earned a reputation as the most meaningful gathering of decision-makers in African energy to form partnerships, identify opportunities and move the industry forward. Africa’s rising energy sector is essential to the success of the continent’s emerging industries, including a critical minerals sector crucial to the world’s green energy transition.

The event itself is taking place between Tuesday, June 25 to Friday, June 28 – and there will be a day of pre-event programming taking place on June 24.

Pre-preprogramming will include:

• Export Café (businesses meet with different trade commissioners from other regions of Africa)
• Networking event
• Panel discussion and/or presentation – on doing business in Africa
• B2B and/or B2G (taking place during pre-event and/or during Africa Energy Forum)
