Company grows Western Canadian presence to provide next-gen digital solutions

September 15, 2022 (Edmonton Metropolitan Region) – Adding to the region’s expertise in innovation and artificial intelligence, Sia Partners (https://www.sia-partners.com/) is expanding its Western Canadian presence to the Edmonton region, the company announced.

The leading international independent management and artificial intelligence consulting firm will establish its new presence by acquiring E2E, a boutique consulting firm based in Edmonton. The 25-member team focuses on change management and business transformation with a client portfolio in energy & utilities, transportation, and government.

“These acquisitions are reflecting our reading of the shifts in the energy and mining markets due to the new geopolitical backdrop. Our ambition is to strengthens our positions in the mining sector, in Western Canada, but also in Western Australia, as we also recently opened an office in Perth,” said Matthieu Courtecuisse, Founder and CEO of Sia Partners.

According to Sia Partners, Carolann Regular, Founder and Managing Partner of E2E, will lead the Sia Partners’ Edmonton office and join the company’s Canadian Steering Committee.

“I’m thrilled to join Sia Partners and being part of a global network. I look forward to servicing my clients with new service capabilities. With the support of the group, I intend to build a Tier-1 consulting practice in the Edmonton region”, she said.

The Edmonton region’s strength in artificial intelligence has positioned it as one of Canada’s AI hubs and a core member of the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy, thanks to expertise from the University of Alberta and the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii). This announcement joins the growing list of tech-related investments in the region, which includes investments from companies like Google, Amazon, Toyota, IBM, Volkswagen, and Microsoft.
