Here, you'll always find your place
As the largest northernmost community in North America, the Edmonton region has a one-of-a-kind culture that celebrates doing things a little differently. We welcome diversity of all kinds. From hosting North America’s first and biggest Fringe Theater Festival, to racing canoes down ski hills, to organizing the world’s largest outdoor celebration of multiculturalism, we’re always looking for ways to celebrate the things that make our region unique.
The Edmonton region is located on Treaty 6 Territory, a gorgeous natural setting that includes North America’s largest urban forest and more than 460 regional parks. It’s the perfect place to enjoy an active lifestyle.
If you’re the indoors type, we’ve also got a thriving food scene, an active live-music scene, and a vibrant night life and creative arts community.
Here are just a few of the region’s experiences:
There’s no limit to things to do and explore in the region.
