Edmonton Global Welcomes Lynette Tremblay as Vice President of Strategy and Innovation

Edmonton Global is pleased to announce the newest member of their team, Lynette Tremblay as Vice President, Strategy and Innovation.

Tremblay is an experienced senior public affairs professional with a broad network that spans government, non-profit, economic development and private sectors. She brings a diverse background in advocacy, strategic planning, policy development and marketing and communications from working in senior roles within various levels of government and private sector in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.

Tremblay has extensive experience planning and executing comprehensive stakeholder engagement and marketing campaigns provincially and nationally in the public and private sector across three provinces, including: stakeholder consultations and launch of 15 policy white papers, executing multimillion-dollar promotional campaigns, and leading direct marketing campaigns to 1.9 million customers for one of Canada’s leading telecommunications companies.

As Manager of Government Relations for Alberta’s Industrial Heartland Association, Tremblay was responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive provincial and federal advocacy strategy. In this role, she helped build a credible brand and working relationship with federal and provincial governments and industry partners to coordinate advocacy efforts for investment attraction and increasing competitiveness.

Tremblay has a history of successfully spearheading regional initiatives that build consensus and align efforts around increasing competitiveness. Tremblay lead five municipalities in an advocacy strategy for improved broadband internet for business areas and also founded the Municipal Advocacy Partnership with membership from municipalities across Alberta to coordinate and align advocacy efforts and campaigns. As a precursor to Edmonton Global, Tremblay was the project lead for the Metro Mayors Alliance Advisory Panel, which was commissioned by nine Edmonton Metro municipalities in 2015 to deliver recommendations that would position the metro region to be globally competitive.
